1984 PORSCHE 911 M491
“Widebody”/”Turbo Look”
64,525 MILES

Here is an opportunity to purchase a very rare and collectible air cooled Porsche: a 1984 911 equipped with the M491 “Turbo Look” option.  Only 384 of these unique Porsches were shipped to the U.S. in 1984. The $11,390 option includes the wide body extended fender components, the “tea tray” rear spoiler, and brakes and suspension from the 930 Turbo.

The vehicle offered here is a Guards Red coupe equipped with a black all leather interior, sport seats, automatic heating control, black roof headliner, alarm system, electric sliding sunroof and the M491 performance body/chassis package. It was purchased by the current owner in 2012 at 61,285 miles, and has been driven only 3,260 miles since.  The car is powered by its original 3.2 liter flat six cylinder SOHC, fuel injected air cooled engine producing 228 horsepower and 209 of torque connected to a 915 five speed gear box. It will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 153 mph.

The only modifications from stock include a 930 Turbo steering wheel (original wheel included), a Sony radio installed by a previous owner, and later model Porsche Turbo wheels.

This Porsche is in extremely good condition. The paint is excellent, with only two small chips observed and no evidence of rust. The interior is in very good condition with the patina expected from an unrestored thirty five year old car. With the exception of one faulty oil gauge, everything works, including the air conditioner. The car recently had a CV boot, gasket and half shaft replaced, as well as new Michelin Pilot Sport tires installed. The car has a clean Carfax and runs and drives as it should.

Service records, books, the original steering wheel, three sets of keys, a car cover, the original window sticker, and an uninstalled sound deadening mat come with the car.

The vehicle is in SE Michigan and can be purchased for $68,500

2007 911 (997) Turbo Coupe

Twin Turbocharged 3.6L H6 Engine

480 HP, 505 pound-feet of torque

5-Speed Tiptronic S Transmission & AWD

0 – 60 in 3.4 sec. Top Speed: 193 mph

Slate Gray/Natural Leather Brown

VIN: WP0AD29957S786530

23,780 Miles

With a 480 horsepower water-cooled flat-six, variable vane twin turbos & all-wheel drive, this 997 Turbo offers all the technology, refinement, and creature comforts that you would expect from a modern 911, at hilarious levels of speed.

This low mileage 997 Turbo is not only very quick, and pristine, but abundantly equipped and very comfortable. Its many options include Chrono Package Plus, PCM Package Leather, Carbon Fiber Trim Packages, navigation and much more (totaling 33 items, originally +$32k, see the photos for a detailed list). It rides on 19 inch wheels and Porsche N-rated Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires. It has been very well cared for, maintained & serviced, with records & receipts since 2011.

For those who are skeptical about its Tiptronic (vs. manual transmission), here’s what Car and Driver magazine had to say about that:

“…the automatic launches without much wheelspin, unlike the manual…  We hit 30 mph in 1.3 seconds, which is 0.2-second off the manual's pace. But that early deficit is overcome by the Tiptronic's smooth and quick wide-open-throttle upshifts which keep the turbos spooled up, unlike what happens when you lift to shift in the manual. By 60 mph, that lost time is made up and the Tiptronic matches the manual car's 3.4-second blast. From there, it continues to gain ground and edges out the manual in the quarter-mile by a scant 0.1 second—11.6 seconds at 122 mph versus 11.7 at 121—and it stays ahead the rest of the way, hitting 160 mph in 22.1 seconds versus 23.8.” See the entire Car and Driver magazine road test article here:

The complete set of books (including an extra one on the 997 Turbos) and keys are included. A clean Carfax report is available, and it has a clean MI Title.

In 1978, the Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9 was the king of the hill in Europe among high speed, executive size 4 door saloons. It was long, wide, built like a bank vault and was powered by the largest engine in any European production car since WW II. In short, the MB 6.9 was the ultimate Autobahn cruiser.

Here's what one renown journalist said in his review, "I have stated publicly and without solicitation my opinion that the 450SEL is the best all-around car in the world, and I will stand by that contention. I like the way the Mercedes-Benz feels at speed, the firm resolute way they negotiate corners and stop; the comfort they provide in the kind of long-haul highway travel that I enjoy so much, always accompanied by vault-like strength and safety."

- Brock Yates

The car presented here is a Euro version, one of only 1.665 built worldwide in 1978. It was exported to the U.S. for resale. Its SOHC, Bosch K-tronic fuel injected 6.9 liter engine produces 286 horsepower and a mighty 405 ft. lbs. of torque, considerably more than the U.S. version of this car. This mighty engine propels the 6.9 from 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds and can travel 140 mph despite its 5,000 lb. weight. Interesting features include the Euro only electronically controlled self-leveling hydro pneumatic suspension with which the ride height could be altered by as much as 2 inches with the dash mounted push/pull knob. The result is a vehicle that offers both a smooth ride and excellent handling with adequate ground clearance when needed.

This 6.9 is in extremely good condition for its age. The car is finished in shiny black (not its original color).  It sports distinctive European headlamps and bumpers. The black leather seats show some wear commensurate with age and mileage, but have no tears, cuts or rips. The real woodgrain trim is very good, although there are a few cracks around the gear shift lever. The car runs extremely well – it is a very powerful, luxurious cruiser.

It comes out of a car collection. Its current owner purchased the vehicle five years ago from a private party.  To his knowledge, the car has never been in an accident. All maintenance has been performed and the car is ready to give its new owner miles of enjoyment.

Serial Number E76495

This adorable little convertible draws attention and smiles wherever it goes. In the opinion of automotive writer Jack Nerad (a former editor of Motor Trend magazine), “The Metropolitan's staying power and its never-ending cuteness have earned it a place among the Greatest Cars of All Time. No, the Metropolitan didn't come from a top-of-the-line manufacturer. No, it doesn't have a proud racing history. And, no, it wasn't built in huge numbers. But [it] possesses an ageless, cuddly quality that has made it a perennial favorite of car lovers and car agnostics alike.”

The Metropolitan was designed by Nash in the U.S. for the U.S. market, but was produced in England by the Austin Motor company and imported to the United States and Canada. Metropolitans were produced from 1953 through 1961.This 1960 model is powered by a 1489 cc four cylinder 52 horsepower Austin A50 engine from an Austin Cambridge. connected to a three speed on the column manual transmission. It runs and drives excellently. The earlier models did not have an exterior trunk lid which was a major complaint; however, starting in 1959, a top loading deck lid became standard

This Metropolitan was restored several years ago and is in excellent condition. The body is straight, with no evidence of rust. The black and white hounds tooth pattern bench seat is believed to be original, and is in excellent condition. The convertible top has been replaced with a new Hartz canvas unit, and seat belts have been added.

The current owner bought the vehicle five years ago at Auctions America in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has driven it sparingly since. The odometer shows 28,000 miles, but is inoperative. Everything else works, except the AM radio. Parts are readily available for Metropolitans. A recent service was performed. The vehicle is located in Troy, MI and can be shown by appointment.

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (993)

3.6L H6 FI 270 HP Engine

6-Speed Manual Transmission

139,100 Miles

The 993 is collectible for a lot of reasons. It’s not just that it’s the last air-cooled Porsche. It’s the blend of classic 911 looks, heritage and sound with modern technology and conveniences. With its wide, muscular bulges in all the right places, many consider it to be the best looking of all 911s, and it’s certainly one of the most rewarding cars to drive, even if some of the newer 911s are quicker. With a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds, this one’s no slouch.

Owned since 1997, this Carrera is one of only 1,767 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupes produced. The car is stock, with no modifications or changes (except for the modern radio). Factory options include 17 in. wheels with colored wheel caps, LSC, ABD (traction control), 17”, 8-way power seats (both), and cruise control. Its A/C works well and blows cold.

This 993 has been assiduously maintained by its owner and qualified Porsche shops and technicians, with detailed records and receipts since 1997 included. Its engine was completely rebuilt at 105,849 miles. It, and the entire car are  in excellent condition. It rides on recent (1 yr. old, very low miles) BFG G-Force Sport tires. It comes with all books, spare, compressor, jack, tools, and extra keys. A clean Carfax report is available.

Motor Sport Magazine succinctly proclaimed, "This is by far the best 911 so far”. Car and Driver remarked that "this is the first 911 that’s truly chuckable, and you would have to do something stupid to get into trouble. All the involving intricacies of the chassis’ personality are still there to be savored.”

Now $44,900.00

1993 Porsche 968 Cabriolet “Barn Find”

3.0L L4 16V DOHC 16V M44/43 Variocam Engine

Six Speed Manual Transaxle

VIN: WP0CA296XPS840217

63,316 Miles

The zenith of Porsche's long running front-engine, four-cylinder 924/944 series culminated with the 968 in 1992. What started as an evolution of the 3.0-liter 944 S2 ended up being a car that Porsche claimed was 80% new, with production in Porsche's own Zuffenhausen works. The 968 shared the front-engine/rear transaxle layout of its predecessor, but at the front was now a 236-hp Variocam-equipped 3.0-liter DOHC I-4, and at the rear was a new six-speed transaxle preserving the trademark 50/50 weight distribution that this platform was famous for. The 944S2/Turbo suspension and Brembo brakes were carried over into the new model. The Porsche 968 was wrapped in new bodywork with updated styling that drew from the 928 at the front, and was more integrated than its 924/944 predecessor at the rear. The 968 could rip off a 0-60 sprint of 5.6 seconds with a 156-mph top speed. Handling is neutral, forgiving, confidence inspiring, and predictable, which made for accessible and satisfying performance in a practical sports car.

This 968 is a true “barn find”, having lived in a dry, heated one since it was inherited in 2014. It has been run during  driven to get a new convertible top installed. It is one of only 414 North American cabriolets built that year, and has never been driven in winter or bad weather. Its Guards Red exterior has clear protective film applied to the front end & mirrors. The Cashmere leather seats and entire interior are in very good condition. It is equipped with power seats, steering & brakes, ABS, and has a newer Nakamichi audio unit with CD player. The original tool roll and all books are included, as is a clean Carfax (with no accidents or issues reported) and a clear Michigan title.
