2004 PORSCHE 911 TURBO CABRIOLET GEMBALLA
WP0CB299X4S676079
36,091 MILES

Here is an opportunity to own a very rare, desirable and distinctive Porsche. The car presented is a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet equipped with a Gemballa body kit and some Gemballa performance modifications. Gemballa is a highly respected tuning company based in Leonberg, Germany, near Stuttgart. They provide aftermarket body and mechanical parts mainly for Porsches. At one time a Gemballa vehicle held the lap record for road cars at the Nurburgring.

This 911 Turbo is painted Arctic Silver and has a black full leather interior and a black fabric top. It is equipped with a twin turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat six  cylinder engine rated at 415 horsepower and 415 ft lbs of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a five speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and an all wheel drive system. Options from the factory include heated seats, lumbar support seats, storage compartment lid with Turbo logo, metal door sills with Turbo insignia, aluminum instrument dials, aluminum shifter and emergency brake. MSRP was $136,250.

The Gemballa modifications include a carbon fiber hood, unique front and rear bumpers, side skirts,  rear wing, modified ECU and a Gemballa exhaust. In addition the vehicle is lowered and has HRE  FlowForm FF01 19” wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing 2019 date codes. Also, the vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket Pioneer head unit and an Escort Passport radar system.

This very special and unique Porsche is in excellent condition, runs and drives great, and has logged only 36,091 miles since new. There are two tiny cuts on either side of the convertible top but no leakage is reported. It has a clean Carfax, and books and some records are included. Brake pads and rotors were replaced in May, 2021.

1963 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Four Door Hardtop Sedan
Serial Number 632A11026
24,918 Miles!

Presented here is a mostly original 1963 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday 4-door hardtop sedan with only 24,918 indicated miles. This car has been in the same family for over forty years and has been cared for lovingly and driven sparingly. During this time it has always been garaged. It starts easily and runs and drives as it should.

The body and shiny Midnight Blue paint are in excellent condition with no apparent rust. The  exterior is complemented with a lighter shade of blue vinyl interior, in very good condition, although there is a small tear along one of the pleats on the driver side seat cushion. This cruiser is powered by a 394 cubic inch 330 horsepower Rocket V8 engine coupled to a Hydramatic  transmission. Equipment includes Robomatic power steering, Pedal Ease power drum brakes, air conditioning, power seat, power antenna, Vibra Tuned ride and more.

The vehicle was originally purchased by Marie Powell at the Cleveland Motor Company, in Cleveland, MS on May 27, 1963 for $4,700.63. Several years later it was purchased by the current owners who reside in Michigan. The car was infrequently driven because the family vehicle of choice was always a Cadillac.

The car is an excellent and fun weekend cruiser. It will turn heads at the local drive-in or car show. It runs and shows well but is not perfect (The air conditioning does not blow cold, the right outside mirror and one wheel cover are missing, the model scripts are missing from the front fenders, sun and the visors need adjustment). The original invoice and other records are included. All things considered, it’s in great shape for a 58 year old Olds.

1987 PORSCHE 928 S4
WP092XHS860636
63,788 MILES

By the late 1960s Porsche had firmly established itself as a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars. Executives, including owner Ferdinand Porsche, were beginning to consider adding a luxury touring car to the line-up due to the need of a car using less fuel and being more usable in the wake of the 1970s oil crisis. Managing director Ernst Fuhrmann was pressuring Ferdinand to approve development of the new model due to concerns that the then-current flagship model, the 911, was reaching the limits of its potential. Fuhrmann believed that the future of the company relied upon grand touring cars with conventional engines rather than unconventional sports cars.

Slumping sales of the 911 in the mid-1970s seemed to confirm that the model was approaching the end of its economic life cycle. Fuhrmann envisioned the new range-topping grand tourer model as being the best possible combination of a sports coupé and a luxury sedan. And thus, the V8 front engine 928 was born. Improvements were made throughout its life cycle. The 928 S4 variant debuted in the second half of 1986 as a 1987 model, an updated version of the 5.0 L V8 for all markets producing 320 PS (235 kW/ 316 hp), sporting a new, larger torque converter in automatics and fairly significant styling updates which gave the car a cleaner, sleeker look.

Our S4 offering here is a real head turner. Its highly polished Guards Red paint, shiny wheels and beautiful aerodynamic shape say “Look at me.” By contrast, the subdued black leather interior implies luxury and comfort. This car was purchased by its current owner in 2014 from a private seller in Grand Haven, MI. Since then, it has only been driven a total of 7,000 miles. It is garage kept and stored throughout snowy, icy Michigan winters. The car has been serviced according to Porsche’s maintenance schedule. Most recently, a power steering leak was fixed and the brake master cylinder was replaced. The vehicle is stock, with the exception of an Infinity subwoofer located in the back hatch that significantly improves the sound.

The car has been adult driven a total of 63,788 miles and has been meticulously maintained and cleaned. It has not been tracked. All systems including the air conditioning work as they should, with the exception of the cruise control which frequently needs to be switched on a few times before it engages. Additionally, an eight volume set of 928 service manuals is included.

1987 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
VIN: 1G1YY3181H5127509
32,889 MILES

Finished in shiny Dark Red (code 74) with a gray leather interior and a black convertible top, this 1987 Corvette convertible is a real looker. Best of all, this is a very low mileage vehicle, with only 32,889 miles from new. It is powered by the venerable Chevrolet 350 cubic inch L89 V8 engine, producing 240 horsepower and 345 ft. lbs. of torque, connected to a 4 speed automatic transmission. The car accelerates from 0-60 mph in only 5.8 seconds, with a top speed of 150 mph.

Like all Corvettes, this vehicle is well equipped. It includes cold air conditioning, power windows, 6 way power seat with lumbar support, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, 4 wheel vented disc brakes and a high quality sound system. Additionally, this Vette comes with a Corvette exterior car cover and special Corvette logo floor mats.

The current owner bought the car in September, 2014 at an Auctions America live auction. When purchased, the odometer read 25,423 miles. Since then, it has only been driven 7,000 miles in seven years. The car is serviced annually. Its most recent service was in the spring of 2020, when the oil and filter were changed, the car was lubricated and its tires were rotated. Recently, all four tires were replaced.

Its overall condition, appearance, and drivability are all excellent. Everything works as you would expect from a car with so few miles. It has been adult driven and never tracked.

1983 Porsche 928S

4.5L SOHC Port Injection EFI V8

5-Speed Manual Transaxle, LSD

0-60 mph: 6.4 sec., Top Speed: 146 mph

VIN: WP0JB0929DS861352

48,137 Miles

First introduced at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show, the Porsche 928 was designed to replace the iconic 911, and was built to have the best qualities of both a sports car and a luxury grand tourer. A new 4.5 liter V8 making 240 hp was placed in a front configuration, and a slick, well-appointed cabin provided the comfort needed to cover miles of open road.

To address any concerns for the tricky handling of the then 911, Porsche engineers developed the Weissach Axle for the 928. Regarded as one of the earliest rear-wheel steering systems, it consists of an additional lateral link on the inner side of the setup's semi-trailing wishbone arm. This allowed the rear axle to passively induce toe-in when lifting the throttle instead of toe-out. While the 911 was a handful that would send you spinning if you lifted mid-corner, the 928 is the complete opposite. This, along with the 928's 50/50 weight distribution and hydraulic-assisted rack-and-pinion steering lends the car a naturally balanced, confident, and planted feel.

This 928 is finished in iconic 80's monochromatic colors: Ruby Red Metallic (Rubinrotmetallic) exterior and Burgundy Leather interior. The paint on the car is mostly original, with the exception of the rear quarter panels, rear bumper and a few small areas which were professionally refinished. The car is well optioned with the desirable 5-Speed manual transmission, Limited Slip Differential, power seats, pressure cast 16 in. alloy wheels, retractable halogen headlights with washers, automatic climate control, tinted glass, cruise control, and more. the 928's gauge cluster and the steering column move in tandem as one unit when the power-adjustable column is repositioned – a first of its kind.

Regarded as Wolfgang Möbius' masterpiece, this 928 is in excellent, well sorted and properly maintained condition: exterior, interior, mechanical and underbody.  A large binder is included detailing the service history of the vehicle, as well as the refreshment or replacement of all pieces and components. The wheels may look like they are chromed, but they are polished aluminum alloy. The cam belts have been done. The catalytic converters and air pump have been removed, but are included with the sale of the car - as are the tools, original sales invoice, and extensive service records.

With its iconic 80's color scheme, powerful V8 engine, manual transmission, well-appointed interior and well-kept history, , this 928S makes the ideal classic candidate for comfortable and spirited touring.
